Labas!

Spring has sprung, the grass is riz – to about a meter in height, too!

OK, here’s plug for my ‘other’ choir, the Stewart Hall Singers: the spring concert will be this Saturday evening, in the WEst Island.
Please see the attachment for details.
SHS will also be performing as part of the Pointe Claire Cultural Day, at Stewart Hall, on Sunday, May 29th, at 2.30pm.
176 Bord du Lac/ Lakeshore, just east of the southern end of St. John’s Blvd.
Part of Montreal’s Museum Day,
this is an annual free event, with lots of fun historical and cultural stuff to explore.
SHS presents a mini-program: first ones there get a seat!

MOKYKLA / LITHUANIAN SCHOOL wound down its school year in April. Everyone bid a sad sudiev to their hard-working teacher, Toma,
who is returning to Lietuva this summer. The adult class will miss Toma very much – she has been an interesing, thoughtful, and diligent
guide through the seeming maze of the Lithuanian language.
Ausra Geralaviciute has accepted the challenge for the next season, and will spend the summer coming up with all sorts of harrowing tests for
the next batch of students!
Attached is a pic of the students at their year-end pot-luck: Sylvie, Al, Florent, Carol, Toma, and Dan. Congratulations to all!

AUSROS VARTAI: SUNDAY JUNE 5th: Prelatas Putrimas will be in town to celebrate First Communion and Confirmation.
Mass will be at 12 noon. 40 young people will be taking part in these special sacraments!

(Note that this Sunday, May 29th, AVP mass will be at 10.30, St. Kazimir’s at noon)
